Finally. A hotel with a lift.

I dislike being on the first floor of hotels, because I like to sleep with the windows open, and I’m not about to leave them open on the first floor, and risk a lawsuit when some toddler sees me padding around in my birthday suit and rips his eyeballs out in disgust and despair. Plus, though it’s not like I have to worry about protecting my virtue, I’d rather not have to eat corned beef and cabbage every day just so I can cropdust my way out of being killed by a hotel intruder.

I’m on a (hopefully) short term job that will involve retrofitting an existing system to do a new job. It’s simple enough but the people I’m working with are treating it like I’m redeploying the QE2 to be a destroyer.

Assholes and elbows, for a couple of days

Blogging may be light, unelss I get a breather here and there.

My kidneys hate me.

I mean, it’s bad enough that they wake me every day about thirty five minutes before the alarm goes off (So I can’t go back to sleep meaningfully) but they have this annoying habit- always have, really, of filling my bladder to capacity the very moment my hands are covered in grease and i’m knee deep in some clusterfuck. Then I have to dance while I try to get my hands clean enough to touch my pecker, and the water is invariably cold.

THe water I’m washing my hands with, not the water in the toilet, by the way.
