ROOT CANAL!

Yesterday, at 8:00, I went to my regular dentist to get a toothache checked out, and discovered, (not a surprise) that I needed a root canal. Dentist says, this tooth has taken it’s knocks through the years, no surprise that it died.

You don’t like this sort of thing, you might want to go over to Lileks and look at some pictures of matchbooks for a while.

How to watch Farenheit 911

I don’t believe in criticizing something you don’t know anything about. I also will NOT pay money to see F911. So, thanks to WLS/AM’s Eileen Byrne, here’s a simple way to see the movie without lining the fatfuck’s pocket:

Go to one of the multiplexes, pay to see another movie, go into the 911 theater instead. If anyone calls you on it, tell them you wanted to see it so bad and it was sold out, so you paid to see Shrek2 and went to see F911.

I like it.

Of course, I myself would not reccomend you do anything outright illegal.

The Gulf

No, not the gulf of Mexico. The gulf between liberals and conservatives. I talked about it a teeny bit here, but Mrs Du Toit drags it all out for the world to see, and makes sense of it.

She tells us a parable of a microcosm, a family unit where one of the members is unstable, and that family member, it turns out, cannot be counted upon to carry their share of the load when called upon to do so. She relates that to liberalisim in our country; liberals are not sane, and when the time comes for them to be functioning members of our society, they will never pull their load.

It’s a tight and well written essay, full of reasoned thought and the kind of sobering logic you expect from the Gun Guys; go read it.
