So far, either by email or by comment on the site, I have the following entries.
If you want to bring a friend etc. you may certainly do so, just make sure you get their names to me before the first.
I will be doing a pistol match next, if this comes off. Remember, if you do well at this, the “official” NRA postal match for this discipline opens in November.
Bring your friends, folks. I want to be scoring a LOT of targets.

Mamamontezz(if I can get a rifle to her, or get her to meet me at the range)
Blogging has been light. It will continue to be so as I arrange the postal match, get the list together, and landscape my yard. One must make hay while the sun shines.
A lot of people are talking about the Amy Richards thing.
Frances W Poretto, as usual, has an extremely well-thought out take on this; me, it makes me sick to think about it.
If the creator of the universe causes you to conceive three children, it is his plan. If you think you know better than the creator of the universe, you are wrong.
I’m going back to shooting, this is too disturbing. Asshelmets.
Frances Porretto has an interesting post regarding the Old Media, and in it he mentions Eric Hoffer’s “True Believer” and the concept of a “fact proof screen”. It’s something you see everyday; a person so tied to their own beliefs that they are unwilling to accept any evidence whatsoever to the contrary.
I can talk about this forever, about how those who erect those screens, close their minds, have ceased to be of any value to the race. The ability to learn, to reassess your view of the world and your place in it by adjusting to the constant stream of incoming data, is what separates homo sapiens, maybe, from homo sentiens; thinking man, if you will. That would be pretty much bullshit, though. Go read what Francis has to say, it’s so much clearer.
