Spent some time on the phone last night talking with an old friend, of the “anybody but Bush” persuasion. She made a big deal out of how social security was in deep shit, because Bush was gonna fuck it all up.

I am astounded at the ignorance of someone who is otherwise quite intelligent.

I’m further amazed that she actually believes that this attitude is anything but partisanship.

Just spent a COUPLE OF HOURS deleting PING SPAM of all things!
Who in fuck thinks that someone will click on the FUCKING TRACKBACKS in MY PATHETIC LITTLE BLOG and GO PLAY AT SOME ONLINE CASINO? You fucknuggets are GONNA GET YOURS. This is flat out theft of service, advertising and not paying for the ad placement. So: I propose, if laws preventing comment and ping spam are not enacted VERY FUCKING SOON, we deal with the comment/ping spammers in the following manner.

no, not cleaning windows- but on an install, doing a lot of physical labor for a change, and loving it.

Just slept twelve hours, and woke to a flurry of comment AND trackback spam. Sheesh. Calgon, take me away.

Yesterday learned that one of my few remaining uncles is dying, or maybe by this time, already dead. I’ll probably get to bear pall again. No fun.
