Walked into the field and had a deer in five minutes. Spent three hours dragging it to my car and dressing it. Now, a doe.

Have to pick some scent free soap up, but otherwise I’m ready to go.

Well, OK, I need t get it all in the packs, and in the car. But it’ll get there.

I used to surf around looking for websites I liked, and link whore like a banshee, until they finally gave me a sidebar link. I even asked a few times. ANd I very nearly pouted when Vman accidentally deleted my link, once (I think it was accidental. he said it was.)

These days, I’m almost as excited to be uncerimoniously removed from someone’s blogroll. I take it as a badge of honor. it means I’m doing something very right. I have had some pissing contests over the years- Mark Alger and I once went at it tooth and nail for the better part of a week- and we still disagree rabidly on the subject on which we had the discussion- but I’ve since eaten at his house and used his table saw. You gotta be close to a guy to use his table saw. I also had a pissing contest once with Acidman- a badge of honor in itself- but at the end, he laughed, and left my link intact. Where it still is. I once shat- almost literlly- on Elisson’s blog and he actually thanked me. I’m not afraid to state my opinion, in person as well as on the blog; I am anonymous here, in the main, though anyone with a 5th grade education can find me easily (lord knows many trolls have) and a powerful lot of the time people dislike my opinion. That’s fine! it’s a free country, for a little while longer, anyway. But the bottomline is, I am always ready to back up my opinion with the reason I got there, and I don’t come to my opinions without lifetimes of research; I just don’t form opinions based on my feelings, I research everything obsessively. I’m also always willing to be taken to school; if you have your ducks in a row, and you can state your case effectively without basing anything on “Feelings”, I not only may not laugh at you, I might agree with you. I still change my stance on things from time to time, and it’s often at the explanation of those things by very intelligent people. And I am as often thankful for the education. I am always amused when people disagree with me, and rather than acknowledge that I might just be right, they de-link me so as to attempt to somehow make me go away.

Maybe I should put a tagline under the header. “Pissing off the entire internet- one person at a time”
