NaPoWriMo day three

A special theme based on a … call I received from someone I know last night.

For “Donald” in Iambic Pentameter.

When Donald trysts, he likes a matron fair
a woman long in leg and short in hair
A wedded wife to unsuspecting man
who never guessed the secret of their plan

So Donald, he of shiftwork, shows at nine
To have the empty house and all the time
To breed the matron fair and at their whim
he played with her and then she played with him

They’d petted and caressed to beat the band
and then he gathered hair into his hand
and mounted her behind to see her squirm
and play a game that he called “Hide the worm”

Cuckold, returning for forgotten Phone
did walk into the kitchen of his home
to find the couple locked in hot embrace
the blood must sore have risen in his face

he grabbed a taser from his holster, then
without a moments warning, fired, and when
the megavolt surprise entered old Don
The matron found herself also- turned on

Being tasered by injection wasn’t fun
and soon the naked matron, on the run,
did pelt the cuckold with the dinner dishes
she couldn’t know that it was in his wishes

to deliver shock to both the red hot lovers
who didn’t have the sense, to, under covers,
keep their tryst between them and them alone
but flaunted infidelity in her home!

So Matron now files quickly for divorce
while Cuckold loses all, and then, of course
Our Don has arc burns all along his pecker
small punishment for being a home wrecker.

I was minded of this tonight, I had to add a video. Some of you older than dirt might remember it.

I had no idea

Such a thing as NaPoWriMo existed, and now I find myself to be a day behind. So here’s Monday’s. I’ll begin with haiku.

Like cherry blossoms
bluehairs driving in my lane
Spring comes to the roads

And then Tuesday. How about a double dactyl?

Flippety Floppety
John Kerry, sought to be
State’s secretary
for this four year term

Lurch throws his arms wide, to
Uncategorically
welcome dictators
to pillage, then burn.

OK, it was off the cuff but still.

It’s the most wonderful time of… Well, maybe the second most.

Lunch today was ham and cheezy taters. Dinner tonight? Ham and cheezy taters.

Several years back I convinced the wife to make two casseroles of cheezy potatoes, and she said “Are you nuts? We’ll never eat all that” the first batch didn’t make it to the table.

So each year we make a big spiral ham, a couple batches of cheezy potatoes (With cornflakes AND onion rings topping) and the leftovers are heavenly. My favorite leftover on earth is ham off the bone cubed and mixed in with cheesy potatoes and nuked, possibly with a little additional cheddar on top.

Heaven.
