Thank G-d for insurance.

I have been on a relatively new drug ever since the seasickness episode of 2013. the drug is expensive and I’m happy the insurance covers it; the mailorder plan makes it downright affordable.

On the other hand, the mailorder people seem to have their heads so far up their keisters it’s not funny. They shipped my three-month supply to my town, but without my name or anything like my actual address on it. So the local post office shipped it back. And I had to go get an interim scrip filled for a months supply to cover me until they can ship it back to the correct address. Damned fools. That was a day of jerking around, and I was not amused. Still, it’s done, and I have my meds, and the car seems to be ok now, so back to the grind tomorrow and hopefully an uneventful weekend.

The big guy, watching out for me again, apparently.

I have noticed a bit of heat fluctuation in the Short Bus lately, and this morning on the way to the mine it got HOT. Like 245 degrees hot- normal operating temp is 192.

It got hottest at highway speeds, so it pointed to thermostat, and I want home and worked on arranging the toolbox as I waited for it to cool, and swapped out the stat, and sure enough it was stuck closed. I boiled that bugger for 20 minutes and it never opened.

A new one from Autozone was only $15, and as I always do, I bought and installed a failsafe. Took it out on a testrun after filling the system, and it stays rock steady at 192. I’ll take that.
