I have had NO air conditioning in the Escape so far this summer.

it hasn’t been much of a hardship because I had many other, larger fish to fry. On the other hand, it was nice when there were cool days.

Still, three or four days so far, I would arrive at work, or on the jobsite, looking like someone peed on me. Not optimal

I knew I had a leak in the AC compressor. Made in Korea, I had already probably exceeded the service life. So I waited until I had the scratch in Paypal and ordered the kit- the compressor, the accumulator, the oil, & flush solvent all showed up at the house last Wednesday. So Friday and yesterday, working in the new and improved shop, where all the tools can actually be located, I managed to get it out, flushed, swapped, and recharged. I could have run the vacuum down a little lower, but I can always go back and do that. And now cool air comes out of the ducts, instead of just humidity. Thank you, Mr Carrier.
