   For exercises like trade shows (attended the Shotshow this year) or visiting amusement parks, I’ve long made it a practice of wearing hiking boots. They seem to be the best footwear for defending one’s feet against the depradations of hard pavement.
   While expensive, my black Danner Acadians also polish up nice for events that require it.

   My Kevlar HiTech boots are about all footware I wear when I do wear anyting on my feet. They are super light and wonderfull for a day on your feet.
   However I toss em as soon as I get home… I’m a barefoot African at heart. :-)
