IMTS draws to a close
Last day tomorrow. I think my feet may take a week to recover.
My portion has been a pretty good success- so much so, that it looks like they may use my exhibit pretty much unchanged at DMS Kansai in Japan.
All in all, we’re pretty happy. Lots of good leads. Lots of interesting possibilities. And a future so bright we have to wear shades.

I am doing a trade show today too Og. Fortunately mine is only a day and a half. I want to go home, climb into bed with my wife and my dog and just sleep for the next two days. Then I will eat real food. Hotel life blows.
Og it is time for another gun post. Can you put something up? Hunting season looms, I just ordered in a Heckler & Puke SL8, and my coworkers get angry with me if I play with guns during working hours. Do you take special requests?
I am going to go to the range when I get home too!
That my friend, makes it all worth while.
Are you going to accompany the exhibit to the land of Cherry Blossoms Og?
Mebbe.
Trade shows are great. And they also suck.
My first job in Chicago (the one that paid for me to move here) took me to Las Vegas where they were doing registration services for one. I worked from 5am to 2am ten days straight, most of it on my feet running back and forth and constantly being shocked by everything I touched (’cause of the low humidity and all that…lots of static buildup everywhere). I got paid the same as if I’d stayed behind in Chicago, worked in the office, and taken the weekend off. My accrued comp time disappeared into the aether when the company got bought out a couple of months later.
It was hell.
But it was also a blast. :)
Ogster –
I didn’t get much time out of my booth but I looked for you ysterday and didn’t see you. Sorry. We’ll have to have another symposium soon.
