OK, Jack Chick
Lest anyone think I sit around thinking of beginning another crusade involving Christians against Muslims, let me take a moment to point out a huge waste of flesh masquerading as a human. Jack T Chick is the epitome of arrogant ignorance, a huge purulent festering sore on the taint of Christianity.
Jack Chick and his little joyful tracts have been telling people all over the world how horrible they are, and how they can only be saved if they follow HIS ignorant advice.
Let me clue you in to something. If there is a Creator of the Universe, it is pretty clear that no human understands the Creator- Got it? And anyone telling you how to act? Well, I must refer you to Mencken’s law:
Mencken’s Law: “Whenever A annoys or injures B on the pretense of saving or improving X, A is a scoundrel.”
I’m sure you’ve seen the tracts. If you see the tracts and believe anything they say? you got some edumacation to get.
I could spend a lot of time linking to Jack Chick tracts, or to the sites that parody them, but I hate to give the scumbag anything like publicity, and in fact have used his name far too much already. Think of this: In every belief system there are the devout, the decent, and the normal. And then there are the Jack Chicks, the terrorists of the Christian world. When we have managed to rid the world of Islamic terrorists we will need to focus some energies on the Jack Chicks of the world. Alternately, dropping Jack Chick on terrorists would work, but thankfully we only have one.

Hmmmm.
“Terrorists of the Christian world”?
Sounds a lot like Rosie O’Ds take on it, no?
I don’t know this guy, but there is a time to draw a line.
Are we not there yet Og?
Do “Christian terrorists” present the same threat as, oh, I don’t know, “Islamic terrorists”?
No, they don’t. What they DO, is impose their will on communities- making it impossible to get or keep a job in certain areas of the US, and that is the real danger.
I’m surprised at you. Of all the people I’d have thought would never lose sight of the distinction between “asshole who’s way too free with his disturbed opinions” and “terrorist”, I’d have thought you were at the top of the list.
By all means, let’s drop Jack Chick on the terrorists. Maybe they’ll kill each other. Maybe they’ll just distract each other enough to leave us alone for a while. But regardless, let’s not lose sight of the crucial difference between an asshole who perverts Christian doctrine and sells it as the real thing (God will deal with him) and an evil lunatic who kills “infidels” in mass quantity (WE need to deal with him).
Unquestionably correct, Matt; however, you have to know Jack Chick. Once you do, you understand why I label him “Terrorist”.
Naw… We can’t drop Jack Chick on the terrorists (unless he’s willing). That would be — well — un-Christian.
But you could drop Jack Chick pamphlets on the terrorists. And from the sound of him (never heard of him before the earlier post), they’d die laughing.
