On the other hand, if you would be likely to vote democrat to begin with, you aren’t likely to get it anyway- becuase Nancy Pelosi wants you to vote Democrat. Bill Bastard Clinton and his cankled basilisk want you to vote democrat. Ted Kennedy wants you to vote democrat. If that doesn’t change your mind; if it doesn’t give you pause to think that the very worst of people that call themselves Americans want you to vote democrat, then the idea that murdering thugs around the world want you to vote democrat isn’t ging to sway you. And it makes you no different than those murdering thugs, in my eyes.
You are one of the few people who’ve ever made me go to the dictionary to look up a word you used – basilisk.

Now I have a new word, to replace wildebeast and behemoth, to describe unimaginably ugly and foul tempered Janet Reno and Hilary-quality women. And for a while I can make my Usual Suspects give me the RCA dog look whenever I point out one of these specimens.
But you are so right. This election is so black & white it is crazy. And it’s not good choice vs. bad choice, it’s miserable choice vs. abysmal choice. Like digging through an outhouse to recover a set of dentures, as you describe in today’s post. Dread either way, but pinch your nose and put up with the lesser dread to avoid the bigger one.
One of these days I’ll actually go and vote FOR someone instead of against someone. But between Region and national politics, I don’t think so.
