Six Feet Under
I’ve seen this a time or two in hotels, and I just noticed it’s now on Bravo. The episode on right now is one I’ve seen before on HBO, and I have to say, what in the hell was the point? without the conversations with dead naked people, and the occasional obscenity, the show is insipid and lame.

Believe it or not, I watched the very first season. It was pretty damn good. Then, it became lame.
I watched one episode. It was so vicious, deviant, sick, and depressing that I had to leave the room, even though I sat through most of it. Ugh.
“It was so vicious, deviant, sick, and depressing that I had to leave the room”
Yes, sadly I remember the glory days as well.
I agree.First season was excellent.I think that I heard it called groundbreaking.

The gays just love it.
No seriously, that’s the point. When it was running, it was the highest rated hour drama on cable among gay men other than “Sex and the city”.
You might have noted, that bravo has alweays had a large gay audience, and that they pretty much decided to run with that a couple years back.
Like Dick, I watched the first season. After that it was just too depressing to watch. Plus the family portrayed in the funeral home struck me as a bunch of whiney, thankless, freaks, who were “grumpy” ’cause of their choice of business. If you don’t like preparing bodies, quit and go do something else. But, of course, that wouldn’t make for good TV.
