Al Quaeda strikes again
No, wait- it’s Al Franken, not Al Quaeda. He’s running for senate, as M Alger reminds us.
Heard this on the radio, and forgot till I read it on BTB.
Fucktard. If he wins, his constituents deserve to get what they asked for, good and hard.

Al Quaeda strikes again…
…
Actually, it might be really interesting to watch him have to explain his voting record if he does get elected. It’s one thing to have a show and comment on what Congress is doing; it’s another to have to actually participate in the art of the compromise in order to get things done, and be a real, living legislator.
If you think it’s fun to have watched the basilisk fry her presidential ambitions by voting the “wrong” way (by liberal standards) on the war and having it used against her now like an infernal tar baby by her very own liberals, think of what it’ll be like when Al has to vote for an anti-liberal thing.
It’s not like Ahhhnold, who went 100% heart and soul into whatever he did to make himself #1, weightlifting, acting, or politicking. He studied and perfected himself before he even decided to run for anything. It’s the stupid gadfly dabbler Al who will get his ass handed to him within the first 90 days by the party that doesn’t want him to make it more of a wacko laughingstock than it already is. He will get pulled aside and “spoken to.”
an infernal tar baby
Can’t you get a comment preview feature, please? Preview is my friend.

Well, those folks have had some whacko reps in their time, so what’s new?
That 60’s comedian, what was his name, then the rassler, now Imam Ellington. They have shit for brains, so they get what they deserve.
