When you smoke
there’s that moment, when you wake up, and you realize you finished off the last pack late last night, and you panic, digging through ashtrays and the garbage looking for long butts.
That’s about how I feel about chocolate chip cookies right about now.

Part of addiction resolution is the self control to say to your self I can have just one. Not.
I’ve lost some 30 pounds so far and it is just smaller portions a little more often.
If you have a couple no bad, if you scarf the whole pack, then they will get you.
I passed the test. It did suck for a while, though.
I smoked for 23 years and quit, cold turkey about 4 years ago. I had my first cigar about two weeks ago on an ice fishing trip and it was great; I smoked my one cigar and that was it! I enjoyed it too, and didn’t feel the craving to have another one.
Having a treat and feeding an addiction are two different things. I will have another cigar when the ice comes off the lakes and it is time to get the fishin’ boat out.
I am looking forward to it!
I understand this feeling.
I’m finding myself wanting biscuits. Nothing fancy. Even Mc******s breakfast — scorn quotes — “biscuits” will do.
Comfort food.
