Range day! Range day! Party Time! Excellent!
Hit the range, put a few rounds through Ma bell.
Scope needs shimmed, before I can do anything serious with it. Need to do that and go back in a week, I think. Out of adjustment in that direction.
On the other hand, I took out the K31, and my first shot, at 100 yards, was in the 2″ ten ring.
The guy across the bench whistled, and I handed it to him. He chambered a round, and put a shot in the 1″ ten ring on HIS target. He wrote down the info on the K31 as he left,a nd says he’ll be ordering one come monday.
Sweet rifles. I love mine. Kim Du Toit asked me once, “If you could have only one rifle, what would it be?”
Having shot everything from 300 win mag to 500 nitro express to 17/223 wildcats, I can safely say, without equivocation, I like this rifle enough that if I had to give up all but one, this would be the one.
Lets hope it never comes to that.

Man, I’m such a rifle amateur. I’m just now getting well acquainted with a variety of handguns. So much to learn.
What kind of scope mount do you use? I have seen a clamp on, but will they take the shock? I do love the Mojo sight.
Also, my K31 came with red tape around the business end of the furniture, any idea what it was for? (Bore seems intact)
Don’t know about the tape, but look underneath the butt-plate and you may find the name and address of the original owner written on a piece of paper.
