Easter Sunday.
My word. There were twenty of us, all told. It was very much as if a giant flock of gannets, or perhaps a swarm of locusts, had decended onto the Casa del Mom of Og.
We ate like it, anyway.
There was so goddamned much food i had no idea where it came from. People I didn’t even know were bringing in dishes. Twenty of us ate at banquettes in a 12 x 14 living room, WITH the sofa, loveseat, and chairs.
Afterwards, we ate candy and picked polystyrene grass from our teeth.
Partner and I took long pulls on a big bottle of cockburns ruby port. And now I feel as if I should be dragged back into the water so I can join the rest of the pod.

Kelly built us a turkey with all the trimmings. Damn it was good.
We went out to dinner. No chocolate bunnies but it sure was good. Glad that you had a great day, too.

And you took the time to pop online?
I’m amazed, Og. :)
Sounds like the best kind of family holiday!
Pronounced “koh-burns” as I’m sure you know.
Indeed. As a matter of fact, I had to disavow my nephiew of pronouncing it Cock burns.
