Our wonderful educational system at work
Here is an interesting piece about a well loved wrestling coach at Skyview high School. He’s giving up his wrestling gig, after doing such a wonderful job of coaching the kids for so may years. He’s gonna stay on to teach math. Another coach is also giving up her coaching position.
Now read…. The rest of the story.
These two fuckheads are being allowed to stay in the school and continue to teach after a 14 year old freshman student caught them having sex in the lounge area in the gym. They were given minor suspensions and then allowed to come back to fucking work. Why they’re not hanging from lamp posts at this very moment is beyond me. Read the story, come back, leave a comment, write someone, raise hell.
The male coach has an invalid wife, which he uses to justify his trysts with the female coach, and they have continued this activity for years, according to other students and parents in the know.
Stir some shit up, folks. Do it as a favor for Og. Do it for my neice, who was the 14 year old student in question.

Well, Og, look on the bright side: at least it wasn’t your niece he was schtupping! Around here, there have been multiple cases — one in my school when I was there — of teachers who got “involved” with students, and who when caught agreed to “go quietly” and “not make a scene” in exchange for keeping their records clean. Then since their records ARE clean, they go to other schools and repeat the pattern.
I hate to sound like a crank, but I blame the teachers’ union, along with cowardly administrators who are afraid to rile up the teachers’ union. It sounds like in this case, the school board’s accepting voluntary resignations and easing out, and offering to keep things hush-hush in exchange.
Normally, I’m not one for lawsuits. I think that surplus lawyers create nuisance suits that just shouldn’t happen. But this sounds to me like a good case for a sexual harassment lawsuit on behalf of your niece. (NOTE: I am NOT a lawyer, so take the following with a HUGE grain of salt.) She has reason to claim psychological trauma. Further, the presence of these teachers can be construed as a hostile work environment from her perspective: a “teacher” with such poor judgment can make her feel uncomfortable. And the behavior of the administration is akin to (though thankfully less egregious than) that of the Catholic Church hierarchy who sheltered and shuffled abusive priests and paid off victims for their silence.
It just seems to me that a creative attorney could turn this into a credible lawsuit threat, to counter the union threat and force the administration to do what’s right. Maybe even a class action suit for the entire student body. Make the board more afraid of you than they are of the union.
Because otherwise, this will happen again, and again, and again.
Do it as a favor for Og
Local paper in Billings, MT, omits a significant detail from the story. A detail of which Neanderpundit is cognizant.
I need to take issue with the above comments. I don’t condone or approve of what happened with these teachers, but please don’t show your ignorance by blaming unions for what is happening here. Stupid or not, these people have the right to due process, as do all the other citizens of this fine country. Please, get off you soapbox.
Preview is “you” friend.
Anyone who wishes to do so may climb upon their soapbox anytime they like. In this “fine country”, we call it freedom. Also, as you have amply demostrated, that freedom includes one’s ability to “show their ignorance”. Existence of corruption in unions is a foregone conclusion, and has no bearing whatsoever on rule of law or due process.
