First Mow
Felt good to sit my buttocks on the tractor seat again. Spun right up on the first kick. Mowed two acres like it had been doing it all it’s life- which it has.
Good to smell that fresh cut grass, too. US Citizen understands what I mean.

My first mowing this year was in late February
Our yard man finally got around to it. (You, having seen our little half acre of heaven, can appreciate the humor in our having a yard man.)
Yes, it did smell good — until he fired up his gas-powered leaf blower.
Whatever happened to rakes and brooms?
