They let you use aloe gel or not? I don’t mean the 1% horse crap stuff from the store, I mean the 100% pure stuff they sell at the health food store in the fridge, kept cold because it has no preservatives or other gunk.
I had poison ivy last year for the first time, and used that instead of calamine lotion, and it was effective. I was gooping it on when I thought I just had a rash (like I said, it was my first reaction, so I didn’t know – I used to be able to roll in ivy before, with no bad effect – getting old I guess). Though I eventually looked like a 3rd degree burn victim on the forearms, it didn’t itch, to my and everyone’s amazement.
When it dries it’ll be sticky, but it’s not like you’ll be clean for a while anyway.
I know this will sound bizarre Og, but get some Prep H Hydrocortisone.
I know you’re familiar w/the Prep H line of products ;-)
We in the woods have been using it for blackfly chews (& mosquito stabs) for quite a few years, & there is nothing better for itch removal. The generic 1% hydro stuff sold for bug bite & general itch relief sucks in comparison.
Good luck…

eeww, I think I’d rather itch.
But just think of how soft and smoooooove you’ll be when it’s on.
And slimy.
