New mags
Just got a handful of new 1911 mags from an Ebay auction. And damned nice mags they were, too. Outside shows normal wear, but inside they’re clean and smooth. No dents, no dings. All same maker, all nice clean feed lips. Look forward to testing them out this weekend.
Cool! I say this especially since I just got my good old Mark IV Series 70 out of mothballs and plan to shoot it tomorrow.
Out of curiosity, what make/model of 1911 do you enjoy?
Linoge, I have a FrankenColt. Made from peces of other pistols I had laying around. I’ll dismantle it and show pictures of it someday.

You seen those new things out there; after market 1911 mags with a flat barrel on the end that holds 50 rds.in a spiral?
I don’t dislike my gun that much, Fat, to want to melt the barrel. Plus, they dont’ make a good holster for them.
Now, a snail drum on an AK or SKS? now we’re talking.
