Mo bettah
Harvey. Grau. Contagion. One of the joes. Another guy whose name I disremember. And myself. We all went to the Buffalo range. We blowded stuff up.
Something about the sound of full auto weapons fire.
Last night I dreamed that I went to the range and they had added a swimming pool where the retention pond is now. It was covered, and as I drove by, there were 120 clones of Kathy Bates synchronized swimming to the velvet tones of Tiny Tim singing “dream a little ream of you”.
Then I get to the range today, and meet the aforementioned people, and discover that in a twist of fate too large to be measured, their real life names are all Biff Torkelson.
Anyway, this was stress releief turned up to thirty eight. I shot the K31, a lot. I loved it, a lot. If I had to choose between shooting that rifle all day, and getting a handjob from a midget… well, I might want to see the midget first. No, I’d rather shoot the rifle, for sure. Anyway, if you missed it, you suck. Get your ass ready for next year, starting now.

I had fun today. It amy have been me you disremembered. (Jim)Had a lot of fun with the K31 and the Garand and The M48a Yugo Mauser. Look forward to tryingthe range at Kingsbury. And I think I got a line on 1-2 sources of Berdan Primers, I’ve got your card and will be in touch, I’ll post a couple of pics I took at curiousrelic.blogspot.com tomorrow.
Have a great dinner

Indeed, Jim, wondeful to have met you. We have to go shooting together again very soon.
Yes! I remembered your name, but not the blog (going back to edit my recap post…)
Had a frickin’ awesome time. Need to bring more .44 magnum ammo next time, though :)
That was a hell of a lot of fun. I will definately be hitting that range again. It’s much better then the one we normally go to, and about the same distance for us. Hopefully next year at this tima I’ll have that M1A1 that I’ve had my eye on.
