Harry Potter.
Good movie. Still, the formula is getting old. Happy to see it’s making JK some scratch. Very nice to see that an amusing, entertaining family film with moral values and no nudity or sex or language can get an audience.
The Oglet wanted to sit apart from mom and dad. Just so she could- you know- pretend she was all by herself. Of course she wanted us to sit right behind her. SO we wouldn’t be too far away.

Took the wife and son to see it. Not bad as movies go. Highly predicatble, but then do you want to see a movie where the good guys lose?
Might have to read the damn books now. Not that I don’t read, but there is something about this series I don’t want to read.
Oh well. Have a great day.
We’re going tomorrow.
‘Oglet’ – LOL!
When my son was that age, he implored me to wear the full face helmet while riding, cause its safer.
Later I realized it was because no one could see I was his Pops when I dropped him off at school in the morning. Heh.
The genetic hostages here, have read all the books, and seen all (but the most recent) movies. I was not interested in either, until I read the first book (was curious… needed something to “read” while on the throne) and was pleasantly surprised. Ended up reading all the books, and though not classical lit by any extent, not a bad read at all. Waiting to read the final book, and will get the DVD of the current flick at some future point in time.
And as an aside, hats off to Ms JK Rowling. She could have stayed a single mom on the public dole (and in Europe, she was probably encouraged to do so), Instead she follows her dream to write … and ends up making almost if not more money the Oprah.
