WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!
I’m amazed at how heavily even the weather channel is covering the drought and heat in certain areas of the country. And focusing not at all on the swamp that used to be, for instance, central Texas.
Watched a movie called “tornado” last night, from 1996, with a fairly young Bruce Campbell. Hell, he looked a little like Mitchum in this movie. They mention “global warming” in that. Hell, if they knew aboutit eleven years ago, why aren’t we all fried?
Remember, the global warming nuts are by and large the same folks who swore the next ice age was coming back in the ’70’s.
It ain’t science. It’s speculation. And the debate isn’t over.
That’s because it (the Texas swamp) doesn’t fit the pro-globull warming bias of the Weather Channel brass. Watch the regular daytime weather reporting, you’ll be amazed at the slant it’s taken over the past couple of years. Then there’s the at least twice hourly commercials for their in-house pro-globull warming (excuse me, “climate change”) weekly program.
I used to keep TWC on in the background while surfing the ‘net, updating Quicken, etc. No more, even if Alexandra Steele or Stephanie Abrams are on…the GW drumbeat is too much to take…
IT’s absolutely amazing around here in Dallas that the grass is actually green in late July.
Normally, it’s a lovely shade of burnt to a fucking crisp right about now.
We’ve been blessed this year.
I must rememember that term Dick next time we have a drought. :-)
