When I moved into this house, I inherited a slew of what I call Stupid Previous Owner Tricks, or SPOTS. They ranged from electrical connections consisting of wires twisted together and wrapped in duct tape, to roof holes patched with cookie sheets. I have come a long way, but have a long way yet to go. Still: we love the house and the neighborhood, and we’re here to stay. At least one neighbor has moved into a home nearly as bad as ours, fixed it up, and moved out again. There is one person who moved out after spending three years fixing SPOTS, and the new owner immediately set about creating new disasters. A house can’t take that kind of maintenance/no maintenance cycle. Eventually, it becomes more patch than original structure, and someone comes along and decides it’s easier to rebuild than repair. A house that has continued maintenance and is kept in good nick has a huge lifespan, but the homes that are bought and sold over and over eventually succumb to the abuse of each fool who does Earl Scheib work.

Bill Clinton inherited a country in steady economic growth, peace, and prosperity. During his watch, he was credited for all the good that happened to the country (by the media) when, in fact, he did almost nothing constructive at all. When incidents of terrorisim happened, he treated them as law enforcement issues. When gas prices rose, he dumped strategic reserves onto the market. When he got caught, literally, with his pants down, he blew up some aspirin factories to distract attention from his oval-office escapades. The country that George W Bush inherited was in dissaray, the economy was beginning to go to hell, and no effort whatsoever had been made to attempt to counter terrorisim.
Further, 9/11 dropped the country into some of the worst conditions it had ever faced. All of this was George Bush’s fault, of course.

George W Bush has made, and kept, America safe from terror on his watch. He has taken the battle to the terrorists instead of letting them bring it here.

George W Bush has done his level best to try to grow the economy, and has succeeded. My company has entered it’s busiest period in ten years, we will have to double our staff to keep up with the workload. AND the work we do increases productivity and keeps jobs IN America. Everywhere I look I hear the same story- busy, busy busy.

George W Bush has taken out a brutal dictator and removed, from the planet, thousands of people who would seek to harm Americans, as well as saved the lives of literally hundred of thousands, if not millions, of people who would have died had we not removed Saddam from power.

If George W Bush loses this election, this is the house that Ketchupface will inherit: A country at the beginning of an incredibly strong economic growth, a nation which has fought back terror at its source, a nation which has been made strong and prosperous.

How long do you think it will take him to tear our great nation down once more? Will the next owners decide that it is no longer worth rebuilding, and just rip it down to start again?
