Not a morning person
Got out of bed and went to take my daily meds- Cozaar for my blood pressure, protonix for my stomach, tricor for my triglycerides… when I realized yesterday I took a Tricor out of a different bottle… wait, that wasn’t Tricor, it was Oxycontin. The tablets are similar in shape and size.
Explains a few things about yesterday, it does.

If I had to take meds like that – I would have to get one of those “old people” medicine holders. The plastic ones with the days of the week where you sit down (at some time of the day when the brain is actually working) and divide out your meds and put them into their own little slot for the day.
That’s the only way I’d manage to get it right. Not to mention the only way I’d remember whether or not I’d taken them. Especially if it’s something I had to take in the morning… not only am I not a morning person – I have no memory anymore. Heh.
I have those. I just forgot to fill it. thanks for making me feel decrepit- LOL!
My 78 year old dad uses his Og.
Hope that makes ya feel better now! Lmao!
butthed. wait till you get old!
So was yesterday a good day or a bad day??? Depending on the answer you may have found a new schedule for your pill taking… isn’t experimentation fun?
LOL! Nah. It was just as “give a damn’s busted” day.
Oxycontin–Fulfilling the elusive unmet promise of Cheerios: “Makes you feel groovy a-all morning long…”
LOL – well Og – I don’t have any meds to take at the moment (besides my omnipresent Ibuprofen to stave off the less severe headaches). If I did have – I’d have to get the little boxes.
It’s sad to say, even when I’m getting a headache – I often wait too long to take anything because I forget what I went to the kitchen for, by the time I get there. Heh. Of course this means I might not remember to even look at the pill boxes, even if I had ’em…
My my… the brain is nearly at a standstill.
hell to get old, innit?
yep. *grin* but it beats the alternative hands down. ;-)
