   Seriously, when was the last time we had a presidential candidate who you’d feel comfortable deer hunting with?

   I’m thinking I might have to back Fred too. No one on the other side appeals to me. I can’t lie. I like Obama’s personality. But that’s just a youth appeal for me. He has no substance and the “solutions” he’s offered so far have been scary in their lack of sense and lack of depth.

   And in the GOP, none of the others grab me. Fred though? Even in the fledgling stages I feel like he’s already on a more solid track.

   We had a chance to elect Goldwater, and didn’t, and look where the country went. We had a chance to elect Reagan, and we did, and things turned around. Now we have a chance to elect Fred. This election is critical….

   If he stays capital “C” Conservative, he’ll walk into his new job, IMHO.

   I hope he doesn’t “run to the middle” as they almost always do.

   I don’t think he will. His whole angle is filling the void that all the assholes running to the middle are leaving.
