Nobel peace prize
Does anyone out there know the requirements for nomination for this beast? Here’s a part:
“shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”
The nobel peace prize is the kiss of death. Anyone who receives this award should be shunned, and perhaps shot. The morons who award it should be broken on a wheel, and the idiots who nominate for it should be hanged.

I respectfully disagree. Two of them went to the UT South West Medical Center in Dallas for their efforts in cancer research.
That would be the prize for medicine, not the peace prize.
The peace prize is an entirely political thing; and for some time has gone to the nominee who was most anti-american.
Yeah, the med prize is still [[relatively]] untainted. the peace prize, on the other hand, is a cluster.
Considering that America’s latest Nobel “Peace” Prize winner, Jimmah Peanut Carter, just declared that there was no genocide going on in Darfur….
Another “Peace” Prize winner, Yasser Arafat, was one of the bloodiest terrorists in modern history…..
I’d say that anyone who actually GETS the Peace Prize should be evicted from whatever country they happen to live in.
Peace. As in the peace of the grave?
A prize awarded to the man who oversees the most instances of “may they rest in peace” and at the same time grants to the Nobel committee the illusion that they have a clean conscience.
Nobel spins in his grave every year when the “peace” nominations are made.
