Where are those targets, people?
Haven’t had anyone mail me any targets! C’mon, folks , email the targets to mhardig-at-aol.com. I wanna post ’em and see who did the best!
Frankly, I’m amazed at how quickly and thoroughly my ass got kicked– by one of the Boomershoot people, so I don’t feel too badly, but still..
Let’s see some targets folks!
I have no targets to send, but I did shoot at the targets. I have a pretty new Socom 16 M1A, and made the mistake of trying a cheap red dot scope on it: NG. When I noticed that the 4 reticles one can rotate into position did not ‘snap’ cleanly into position, I knew it was trouble. And the dot was 3 min of arc, and the target is such that one really could use some magnification to see the center at 100 yards, etc, etc. So, I could hit the paper, but not much more than that. A learning experience, and that’s what I see this as, an opportunity to learn.
So, I had fun shooting, and will continue learning about scopes and eventually get another on the gun.
