Because I don’t know if his email is working
a message to Gary, in case he can’t get messages any other way.
Two companies I’ve found that do this are
and
Woodex
Both seem to be on the east coast.
Seems as if they impregnate the wood first, then machine it.
Maybe this helps. Don’t know.

I do not know the application, but are air spindle bearings an alternative? Modern bearings, especially ball bearings, have great seals and lubricants that make them work in almost any application, including marine applications. Triple sealed bearings are the gold standard in disc harrow bearings and there are plastic housings for the food industry. Ceramics are another alternative.
Email the specifics (hoosierboy at hotmail dot com) and I can probably help you. Bearings have been my trade for nearly two decades.
This is a center bearing for a 68 year old combine. it’s a restoration project, I believe. Wood is the only way to go.
