And then?
Crawling around the attic, kneeling on the edges of boards 1.5″ thick, is less than optimal for knee health. And doing a brake job on top of that- well, I’ll let you know after i’m done. Ouch.
PLus the 3 degree outside temp isn’t helping. Double ouch.

It’s 75 here, and I’m wearing shorts and a teeshirt.
You dick.
Brake job? We might be leading parallel lives, I finally fixed my brake problem on F150, the shoes I bought at the “Zone” tried to stick and grab when damp. Tried everything, new hose from axle to body, new spring set, new wheel cylinders, drums checked for round and cleaned up, and temp disconectted park brake sys. Nothing worked. Talked to my friend at the Ford dealer and he told me to get Motorcraft shoes. I told him might be full of it on this one but went ahead and picked up a set( he told me he would take them back if the problem did not go away). Changed them out and they have worked perfect since. The “Zone” even gave me my money back. My friend told that Ford had trouble with the first compound they used and changed it later.
Hope all your projects go well and quick.
Ouch! My knees sympathize. Make the MRI the last resort. Painful experience speaking.

MRI? I’m trying to get to the point where I can get those cortizone injections, see if that helps.
When the floor work screwed me up, I told the doctor I just wanted a painkiller. I knew what it was — it was a DDT … a Don’t Do That.
(You know, like in the old joke: “A guy goes to the doctor, says, “Doc, it hurts when I do dis.” Doc says, “Don’t Do Dat” Badda-bing.)
When I stopped doing dat, it would stop hurting. Meantime — painkillers, please.
But, NOOOOOooooo. They had to do XRays. And when that didn’t give them a clue, they had to send me out for an MRI.
Sheer. Tort. Chure. Water boarding has nothing on having your knee clamped in a vise and whanged on by Niebelungen beating out that necklace they traded to Freya to get laid.
The only thing that stopped me from leaping up and running out of the room screaming was the promise/threat that if I moved, they’d have to start all over again.
Like I said, avoid it if you can.

Ah, I been through MRI before, none of it ever bugged me.
Regarding the cortisone injections in the knee. I’ve had two types. The Synvic is a series of three injections done 2-3 weeks apart and , personally, I’d rather have the pain that I live with than ever go through those again. They friggin hurt.I have a complete tear of the ACL and the Meniscus. That pain is doable .The injections, NO !

Der Gud Wife is on her third round of Synvic injections trying to avoid knee replacement until I finish this college thing and get a real job again. From her description, and what I saw the last time I was stupid enough to watch, they are effective but no damn fun to get.
Hey, heard it’s even colder up there at the North Pole today.
The front should get to us this afternoon or evening and cool things down some.
