Wow.
Whole pork tenderloins for $1.69 a pound. Damn. Got three, cut ’em up and froze. Like thirty pounds of meat for so little it’s not funny. Have to defrost the garage freezer and maybe go get some more.

THey’re normally $1.89 a pound at Costco down here. We buy tons of them.
One of our favorite Big Hunks O’ Meat – especially on sale. I’ll cut a chunk of one loin into 2-inch cubes, marinate with a recipe given to me by an Armenian lady, skewer, and grill. Her grandaughter can’t tell it from real (lamb) Shish Kebab.
Mmmmmmm……porky goodness.
It’s close to $5 a pound here, normally. And I don’t do Costco, though I suppose I ought to start.
We scored about thirty pounds ourselves a few weeks back from Costco.
I wanna say it was 98 cents a pound then, but I’m probably wrong.
mmmmmm pork roasts!! Any time they dip below 2 bucks a pound, we do the same thing get one or two, cut em up and freeze em. Great on the grill too. Damn now I am getting hungry again.
I usually just buy pork butt roasts, but that’s good. Mmm.
Roast it, eat some, make the rest into chili.
