Finally, Barack Obama comes right out and says it.
“I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at the age of 16.”
Abortion is not about “the right to choose” it’s about consequence free sex. Obama does not want his daughters “punished” by having a baby- not if they have sex, but if they “make a mistake” and get pregnant.
I’m not an idiot. I’m certainly not distant enough from my own adolescence to forget what hormones are like.
And I’ve ALWAYS taken the consequences for my actions. I’ve got the scars to show for it. For all the actions of adolescence, there are consequences, and decent parents will help you avoid the worst of those consequences. And those same decent parents will help you DEAL with the worst of those consequences, when they occur. In this house, in our family, in my surname, for as many holders of thatr surname as I know, we talk the talk, and we walk the walk.

Hmmm, I’m wondering: does he consider the unwanted pregnancy an STD, or does he somehow think abortion being available for any age/reason will prevent disease?
I have said for years, that I am pro-choice.
We all have the right to choose what behaviors and actions we will engage in. But when it comes to an abortion, the choice has already been made. The choice was to participate in a activity that has the potential outcome of pregnancy.
