Damn, have I pissed off some people this month
Personally and in the blogworld I have made a BUNCH of enemies. Guess I’ll just have to keep my opinions to myself from now on.
FUCK that. I’m as entitled to my opinions as anyone. I may not bring them to the sites of people that won’t discuss them, but anything still goes here.
And of course more crapblogging.

The most offensive opinions are those with the ring of truth to them Neanderpundit. Unfortunately, for some reason I haven’t figured out yet, they seem to be the ones that you are better off keeping to yourself, more often than not. A man who can’t listen to opinions has no business inflicting his own on others.
More crapblogging. Right. Metaphorically, what penetrates the skin is most icky.
And by the same measure, how many other sites are nothing more than fartblogging?

When you piss someone off, sometimes that means you’re doing something right. Or at least that you’re not doing something so foolish that you can be ignored.

I wouldn’t count too much of pissing folk off. You’ve pissed me off more’n once — and vice versa — and we’re still friends. Don’t put too much stock in it.

Your blog, Your opinions. If somebody disagrees, they can try to change your mind, and vice versa.
If somebody wants to just get pissed that you hold opinions they don’t agree with, but can’t argue against them, they’re idiots and can be rightfully disregarded.
We disagreed about the serving as pallbearer for strangers issue – and after going back and forth a bit, you changed my mind. Not enough for me to volunteer (yet), but enough for me to think it’s not a bad idea.
Og, your opinions are generally well-thought-out. Post them, say them, and defend them.
If people don’t like what you say, they can get their own damn blog.

The thing about you and your opinions Og…well, you are always such a gentleman when stating them, after giving real consideration to the subject, whatever it may be, with well and reasoned logic.
This does put a damper on folks who can’t even consider to concede that you have refuted their “logic”. Trounced it, if you will. Why folks get all huffy about that, I can’t understand. If they don’t care for other opinions mingeling with their own, why the hell do they even have comments open?
But,no, they pull the playground equivelant of “taking their ball and going home”, stomping off the playground, closing comments and having the last word, because, ya know, their word is the only word!
