My ignorant readers
Bonnie made some assertions that, in retrospect, i find most amusing. First was the assumption that no women read this site. That was amusing enough, but the implication that we’re all uneducated rubes amuses me no end.
Among my readers, I have lawyers, physicists, rocket scientists, engineers, at least one board-certified internist, a surgeon, and a few REALLY smart people.
I also have plumbers, construction workers, housewives, teachers. None of these people is any more or less important than any other of them, because they all take their work seriously, and do so because of, not in spite of, their right-leaning tendencies. Because to a man and woman they understand how important that invisible infrastructure is. More on that later.

Og, something about Bonnie’s writing didn’t pass the smell test. The more I read, the more I think, “poser”. A man passing himself off as a woman.
I went to Gender Guesser and fed it almost 500 words of B’s inanity. The result came up, “Weak Male” “Weak emphasis could indicate European.” Bwahahahaha!!
Either way, it’s a passive-aggressive feminist with penis-envy, or a Nancy boy socialist from across the pond. (Perhaps the “Bonnie” means he’s a Scot who thinks Schlitz is the shizzle cuz it’s so cheap.)
Oh, crap! All of my writings come up decisively, “Male.” My softer, poetic stuff comes up as “Weak Male.”
Hahahahaha!!! And I don’t even crap blog.
Maybe I’m the poser.
Nah. Just raised by wolves.
LOL! Joan, unquestionably, you’re the real thing.
You’ve got at least one sales puke in the readership, og… ;)
Because I am a rancher, I have to have some pretty good understanding of lots of different businesses as I can’t afford to hire other people, so I must fix what breaks and breaks what fix!
I can’t begin to keep up writing with lots of these people on here, but the funny thing is, tho’ I is a rube and a hick, my vote counts just as much as Bonnies.
And if we ever go into a melt down phase in this country, I think the skills I’ve learned in the past half century will do me much more good than Bonnies. :)
Bonnie, I is a country boy and as Hank Jr said, “a country boy can survive”!
RD, I know what you do. I wouldn’t do your job.
Bonnie, show us your tits (come on… Ya know you want to), then I’ll listen, but not buy into the crap you type.
I’m a woman (though I think I’d be better classified as “young woman”) and I not only read, but enjoy this blog.
So. Yeah.
Ooooo, great idea Dick.
Yeah, tits Bonnie, just so we know, you know what I’m sayin’? ;)
Og, you have at least one little old lady-type in your audience, too. But you knew that. Hmmm…how would I classify my occupation? (What do you call a female curmudgeon?)
I expect you are more lady than Bonnie, but hey.
Anyway, all are welcome, even the moonbats. Move to the light!
LOL. Nuther female, here — in the mortgage & banking industry for 20+ years.
An engineer checking in.
But I always listen to plumbers, construction workers, and housewives. Letters after your name don’t make you God. Anyone who does a necessary job well has already earned my respect.
I like you, and I’m an European woman (Finnish). On the other hand I’m low end working class (cleaning lady and paper carrier). On the gripping hand, my iq is high enough for Mensa. So…
pohjanakka, welcome. Thanks for De-Lurking to sound off.
Stick around, though, I’ll figure out some way to piss you off. Wait, I know: I like to pronounce “sako” (the finnish firearms manufacturer) “say Ko” instead of the proper “Sacco” pronounciation. Now I bet you hate me and want me to die!!!!
I have known several cleaning ladies, and to a person, they were some of the most human humans i knew. Your profession does not make you, M’lady, you make your profession.
Hey! I’m a girl! AND some people actually think I’m smart.
So THERE. She was WAY wrong……
Tammi, you’re often too damned smart for your own good, whch you demonstrate repeatedly.
Just because I haven’t been over there doesn’t mean you and your move etc haven’t been in my thoughts and prayers, btw.
I know of a hot molecular biologist who swings by every now and then.
Bonnie, can you say, “Unmeasurable intelligence quotient?”
No, probably not.
I’m a she, I read your site, AND I swing a hammer everyday, you wanna mess with me? I know this 4 1/2 pound hammer hurts like the dickens when you get smacked a few times with it, just ask my boss!
