I have to say, Sarah did a lot better than I expected.
It is clear and obvious that Sarah is a whole person within herself. Her self image does not depend on the approval of others. Nor does she rely on others to vet her opinions, she’s right out there.
Partner says she looks a little like Elaine. Maybe, but I think she looks like a veep.
The shit is flying. The Press is at it in full fling.

I didn’t watch the speech (no TV), but I read it this morning. Excellent, on a par with the “ask not what your country can do for you”, IMO.
BTW, fucking ABC put new-clear in the transcript starting on page 3, assholes.

Personally I found this entertaining.
You know, while watching her speak, it finally dawned on me why Palin is instantly appealing to so many people. Set aside the high-profile stuff and her fresh looks. The real story is that she is one of US. She grew up in a family that worked for a living, she went to public school and then a state college, fell in love with a young man and then married him, had a bunch of children while she and her husband worked for a living, she started her public involvement with the PTA, her family is not weird or sterile or overly controlled. The Palins live their lives, warts and all, and meet Life’s daily challenges together, just like all the rest of US.
These people are not cynical Ivy-Leaguers who turn their emotions and passions on and off to suit the moment or to get the most votes. The Palins are real people and Sarah will represent US, unlike the great majority of politicians who only represent themselves.

I’ve been reading their reactions to the speech today. Unfortunately, a few forums I frequent are full of libtards. I just keep getting more and more disgusted with them.

Did you know that Sarah Palin read her speech wrong, according to the libtards? And that her speech wasn’t that great because a speechwriter wrote it?
