Evil, or stupid, or both?
With all the corruption in the Obama campaign, the culture of corruption that surrounds him, the clear danger of socialism, the inevitable loss of our most important freedoms, the inevitable damage to the US economy, the only reasons to vote for him would be if you’re evil or stupid or a combination of the two. If you’re voting for the Messiah, which one are you? I’m just curious- I cannot imagine any other reason.
I like to think most of them are in the stupid category. They may be well-educated by some standard, but have surrendered to eight years of BDS immersion and lack the intellectual fortitude to resist any longer.
Not to take away from the fact that there really are just plain evil people out there as well…
I’ve got a good friend who owns a second-hand bookstore. He’s voting for the one. I asked why I know more about Joe the Plumber then the one.
His reply was to the effect that if I did more then watch Fox news I would know that there had been lots of stories about Obama in the media. This is a guy who is pretty damn smart and has run his own business for many years.
I don’t have a lot of hope for what used to be my country. And like the guy said, there ain’t no place else to go.
Smart/ running business don’t mean common sense. And his business will probably be gone if The One gets in.

Og, I think the reason why Obama is doing so well is that a lot of voters are naive enough to believe that Obama is sincere and honest simply because he’s delivering the message that they want to hear.
What they fail to realize is that Obama’s ideas will have exactly the same effect as those of Herbert Hoover and FDR which exacerbated the Great Depression.
For those who don’t know, Hoover signed the Smoot Hawley Tariff Act into law in 1930. This had the desired effect of cutting US imports in half. It had the undesirable and predicted side effect of cutting US exports in half at a time in which the US economy had a trade surplus. Also Hoover increased the top income tax rate from 24% to 65% in 1932. FDR decided to increase taxes further in 1934 so that the top rate was 90%.
That’s IF they have the balls to come here.

I’ve been saying that too! Increased taxes and protectionism in a time of economic turmoil is the exact thing that Hoover did, and the exact thing that Obama wants to do! Learn from history, people!
Don’t forget racism. Blacks are coming out in numbers Bill Clinton could have only hoped for, to elect the REAL first black president, and they don’t give a damn what he’s going to do to this country.
