I used to think
That Gay activists were far more interested in pushing their own agenda than actually being happy with one another. That they were less interested in the bond between them than using the law as a wedge to damage the churches which chose not to condone their behavior. Well, in the new age of the Obama nation, it turns out I was wr…
what?
Oh.
I guess I was right all along.
Hat tip Pascal, by way of Ace of Spades.
Look, let me splain something to you, from somone who knows a little bit better than most:
Your relationship with your partner is the important bit. Anything else is window dressing.
Whether your partner is male or female, if you have made the civil commitment to one another, you should have exactly the same rights.
If it is important that some church or another blesses your union, then find one that considers it acceptible. Hint: Most Christian faiths consider homosexuality a sin.
if you feel you have to beat up an old lady to show how important it is that you be allowed to peacefully marry your partner….. Well, you’ve just shown the world you’re an ass.
I don’t give a flying rats ass if you want to marry a boy, a girl, a lamp post, a dog, a hamster, or a piece of plywood. That’s your business, and the business of your partner. Trying to force someone who will not accept you into accepting you by using the law to redefine a word is wrong, and you know it.
The “Gay activists” in question could care less about their rights. They could care less about theway they are treated. They could care less about their ability to marry, because traditionally, they don’t have traditional relationships to begin with. The gay activists do their thing so they can destroy the churches that won’t condone them or their behavior, end of question. They don’t want to be judged for their sins, so they think they can avoid Christian hell by destroying Christianity.
Sorry. Don’t work like that.

Prezactly. You’ve perfectly expressed what I think about it, too. The Church instituted Marriage and the government needs to concern itself only with the legal aspects of a Civil Union. A legal contract.
The Mexicans can actually lead us to sanity on this point, but nobody really wants a sane resolution. It’s not about marriage. It’s about political power and revenge, as you say.
Well said.
Well done Og.
However, I have to awa4rd the following of Ace’s commenters quote of the day.
And to be perfectly frank, I had already learned of the Gay “Bash-Back” on Mrs. Burgess from Michael Savage’s website 12 hours before Ace posted on it.
People who want children not be misled by government schools due to our Godless politicians and their anti-procreation agenda had better start speaking up. The media is not going to tell your neighbors about this or any story where gays expose their ugly side. It’s going to be up to you. Expose yourself today while the risk is still as small as is. Tomorrow it will be MUCH worse.
heh. Pascal said ‘expose yourself’
In better times we were taught that homosexuality is a mental illness, and although there are exceptions – that remains largely true.
Most queers are not healthy, happy folk. They hate you, they hate the church, and most of all, they hate themselves. Trying to make these creeps happy and treating them like rational adults is a waste of time.
Stand by for the troll attack…
lol. I wouldn’t call homosexuality a mental illness. I WOULD call love a mental illness.
“They don’t want to be judged for their sins, so they think they can avoid Christian hell by destroying Christianity.”
That hit the nail square with a four pound hammer… Thunk!
Next time I hear some of them spouting their bile I will use that Og. Thanks!

They’ll be in for a big surprise at some point, won’t they.
hehe! yep. Or the rest of us will- imagine getting to heaven and finding that God most resembles Graham Norton.
I’m glad you approve of my decision to marry a half sheet of 17/32″ marine birch.
Expect wedding invitations shortly.
I think the proof of what you say is in the fact that in CA they already have every single legal right that married couples have- except for the official Marriage Certificate.
When they were pushing for legalized gay marriage in Hawaii a while back, they included language in the proposed law that anyone that was licensed to perform marriages who refused to perform a gay marriage would lose their marrying license, or whatever they call it.
That’s just more clear evidence of their real agenda. Force churches to recognize their right to marry or lose the right to perform marriages for anyone else.
