Just in case any of you don’t know,
My wife, Kelly, she rocks.
How so, you ask? She just booked our honeymoon at the Seascape Inn in Key West.
What’s so special about that, you ask? She booked our room during the entire week of Fantasy Fest 2009. Google the photos if you’re not familiar with the event.
My life always has rocked, always will.

OMG, I knew it… you’re gay,
just kidding, key west is beautiful this time of year, but fantasy fest is a gay thing, good folks, great weather, but just don’t come home from the party with a sore ass and a new friend…
my bad, kinda rough, if you get to Duval street and get tired of the tourist stuff, ask someone who looks like a local where Captian Tony’s is, you’ll have a good time there if you like cold beer, good music and key west like the locals see it.
We’ll look for you on the streaming- video sites, Dick.
I’m afraid the wildlife you’ll see there will make Og’s big game hunting look tame by comparison.
:o)
And the toilet facilities won’t be much better than those at OgCamp. Certainly won’t be cleaner.
She obviously doesn’t want you to have ANY reason to leave the room, heh, heh, heh.
I’ve been to Key West at least a dozen times. FantasyFest once. Awesome party.
Yes there are lots of gays, all year round, not just in October. And they couldn’t care less if you are or not.
Be ready for a laid back atmosphere like you’ve never seen before.
Sunset party every night at Mallory Square. Turtle Kraals. Raw Bar Restaurant. Sunset cruises.
Margaritaville Bar, Restaurant and Store. Hemingway’s House…on and on.
I have a poster of Capt. Tony signed by the man himself right before he was elected Mayor. Very cool guy.
Oh, yeah…there’s a nude beach, too.
Amazing place for an island that is only 2 miles by 4 miles.
Jean, Capt. Tony died here recently. Hang on to that poster. It’ll be worth more than the memory. And yes, I know Key West inside and out, as I’ve been there half a dozen times myself, just never for Fantasy Fest.
Considering the gloomy situation at work, the poster might help in my old(er) age.
Sorry to hear he’s gone.
You’ll love Fantasy Fest.
Google it, I believe he passed away just a couple of days ago.

“All You Need In This Life Is A Tremendous Sex Drive And A Great Ego — Brains Don’t Mean A Shit.” ~ Captain Tony.
Thanks to Uncle Sam was in Key West for about a month. (Tech school at NAS Boca Chica, quartered at Truman Annex) Laid back atmosphere was exactly that. If I ever get some mad money together, would love to take my better half down there for a week just to decompress. The one place I have ever been where EVERYONE really tried to get along. No real pushyness, just good times, good food, and great weather.
Have a great time Dick!
