From Chris:
This once again proves that to vote for Obama you had to be either dumb as a bag of hammers, or pleased with his brand of evil.

Or both.
Got this one in my email this morning…
Don’t think this can be topped ! !
“IT’S ALL ABOUT ICE CREAM”
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade. The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.
I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia’s mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Every one applauded. He sat down and Olivia came to the podium. Her speech was concise. She said, ‘If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream.’ She sat down. The class went wild. ‘Yes! Yes! We want ice cream.’
She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn’t sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn’t know. The class really didn’t care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a land slide.
Every time Barack Obama opens his mouth he offers ice cream, and fifty percent of America reacts like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other fifty percent know they’re going to have to feed the cow.
It proves the theory that collectively the population of the world is getting dumber… Somehow the herd must be thinned.
It proves nothing, other than Zogby is willing to ruin his reputation even further.
The summary and statement posted on the Zogby web site claims that “only 54% of Obama voters were able to answer at least half or more of the questions correctly,” and more specifically that “statements linked to Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his vice-presidential running-mate Sarah Palin were far more likely to be answered correctly by Obama voters than questions about statements associated with Obama and Vice-President-Elect Joe Biden.”
The survey was paid for by John Ziegler, a former talk radio host and publisher of a conservative web site. The Zogby summary quotes Ziegler claiming that “the poll really proves beyond any doubt the stunning level of malpractice on the part of the media in not educating the Obama portion of the voting populace.”
The problem, as Silver points out, is that the survey does no such thing. It proves only that Obama voters surveyed were less likely to attribute to Obama or Biden a half dozen statements that were “at best debatable, yet apparently represented as factual to the respondent,” such as the following:
“Which of the four [candidates] said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket?”
“Which of the four [candidates] started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground?”
“Which of the four [candidates] quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism?”
“Which of the four [candidates] won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot?”
ed: Of course, if this happened the other way around, you can be Tom would have whined about how horrible it was. Next! Sorry, Tom. As we can see, all of my predictions about the Chosen one are coming true, and nothing you can do or say will ever do anything but prove you to be a moron. As we have already determined.
