   Holy Crap. A Heat Wave.

   I have seen the following temperatures on the thermometer in my truck this week: 1, 3, 12, 15, and the incredible high of 27!!!

   We have been above freezing ONCE this week and there is more snow on the ground in North West Central Illinois than in extreme northern Wisconsin.

   As busy as the two ladies above seem to be … what with insuring the proper fluid levels are maintained under that hot hot sun. And their tans are up to par.     In Texas we usually don’t have the proper clothing for below 32 degree weather. Also the houses are set up with attic ventilation, radiant heat barriers, and not a whole lot of insulation since insulation doesn’t help you all that much during the 8 months of warm weather.

    Dude, I was born, raised and have lived in South Carolina my WHOLE life and I’d rather have the cold than the heat any day.

    Of course, my Hunt Club buddies think I’m insane when I can’t wait to get to my stand on a 15 degree morning and they’re still snoring in their racks.
