   Same to you Neanderpundit! The kids stopped by and are gone, I am sitting here dozing over my pre – Christmas scotch and looking over the pictures of your hunting spot on the computer. I am there myself right now.

   The happiest day of my life was when I shot my moose in a meadow smething like that up in the NWT. As you know moose are alot of work and by the time I was finished it was too late to go home so I started a small fire, grabbed a quart of scotch off the quad and siwashed the night listening to the wolves howl at the moon.

   When I got home Helen gave me the holy hell of it becuase I smelled like a distillery and rotting garbage. Back then she was a darned good looking woman and even coming home to an angry wife and two barrels of buckshot was a pleasure. Merry Christmas Helen, wherever you are.

   Merry Chrstmas to all your absent friends as well!

    Aint it interestin’ that: Two thousand years after the birth of Christ, billions of people around the world are celebrating his birth on this day. It is indeed, something fantastic to contemplate because in another two thousand years no one will remember me or you…but Christ.
