Things I am thankful for:
1: My truck is running again.
2: Janis Joplin is dead, and the number of songs that she murdered with that voice is finite.
There are a lot more, but those are the principal ones this morning.

I can take her better than I can take rap or that emo shit from Seattle
If she were still around as a “role model” we would not have Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton et al flashing their bits to photographers, or that burnout Amy Whinehouse testing every new pharma-cocktail to come along. They would have looked at Janis at 60 years old and all joined the Convent or the Mormon Church!
Always liked her voice, but hated looking at her face.
