   Gotta wonder about that one. Flaps down will slow a plane down and decrease the stall speed, which I am sure Dick knows by heart. Balls to the wall however is a wonderful sentiement.

   I’ve also wondered about the lock and load as that would still leave one with an empty chamber.

   Ah, the things one can ponder during the commute.

   Flaps down, to slow to jump speed of 125 mph. Balls to the wall, no explanation needed.

   Ah, so you are getting out of the plane. Didn’t think of that one.

   Still in the dark on lock and load without actually realesing the bolt. Man did I evr want to be in the army but I got classified 4f before I could get in. (motorcycle wreck, rearranged face, enuff said)

   You Lock and Load once you hit ground and never let up.

   You lock a magazine into the well and load a round into the chamber.

   That explains it. I always thought it meant the automatic’s ability to lock the bolt and then add the magazine. Makes better sense the other way.
