Less than twenty four hours after his impeachment
all the “Open Road Tolling- Rod Blagojevich” signs are down. They were erected at a cost of $480k, and taking them down has cost another $480k.
Bloody nearly a million bucks for this fucktard. And people wonder why I won’t live in Illinois.

I believe the cost to just do an overlay was around 15K.

I think it was when Whitman became Governor of NJ that she had all the “Gov. so-and-so welcomes you to New Jersey” signs changed to “The People of New Jersey Welcome You”.
Not sure what they say now, but any future Gov would sure look narcissistic if they changed it back to the old format. I thought it was a great idea.
No more changing everything after each new Governor.
Heck, when I was living in Michigan and the Governor got divorced, he had all the existing state maps they give out at rest stops destroyed and replaced with new ones so he could use a new family photo that didn’t include the ex.
