If only I could match the New York Times…
Is Obama still ignoring the painful, heartfelt pleas of the good, yet frozen people of Kentucky? Does he hate them because they’re… white?
Is this a plot to kill white people? Sure looks that way to me.
Here trolls! Here boy!

As I sit here in Kentucky (but not in the disaster area), I have to wonder: has the governor ASKED for Federal assistance?
I mean… Yeah. It’s a bitch. Much of the Bluegrass is more like blueballs. Iced over. Wooly Mammoths at Big Bone Lick. (A little local humor for ya, there.)
And we hear a lot about how the gubner has called out the National Guard — every last one of ’em — and the line crews are working furiously to restore power, and all…
What exactly is it FEMA and the Lichtarbeiter are supposed to do?
Or is that too commonsensical?
But… Has the gubner asked them in? They can’t come into the ring without the tag-up. I haven’t heard that he has.

Wall Street Journal, February 3, 2009, page A5: “Aid Officials Reach Out to Residents Still in Dark in Battered Kentucky, Arkansas” (yes, the hed runs the full width of the page)
(Meanwhile, there are still 120,000 customers in Arkansas with no power.)
It’s Bushes Fault! Its Bushes… no wait…
