I’m seeing nastiness in the media about the Pope’s imminent passing.

SODAKMONK, a recent addition to the blogroll (via Acidman of all places) has it right:

“It’s not the death of Pope John Paul II that is going to bother me. (If ever someone was ready to go, he is the one.) It will be the inevitable stupid comments in the media, from people who have no sense of decency.”

He’s absolutely right.
