This is not meant to be a tease. A few days ago someone- a customer, actually- showed me that they think highly of me. How highly I can’t say just yet but there will be pictures once the dust settles- oh, yes, there will be pictures. Very nice to have someone feel that way about you.
And I was hoping for a lottery. this is better as you have worked for it.

It is always good to have a customer think highly of you. And it’s wonderful for them to tell you as well.
Although there is nothing quite like when a customer tells your boss they think highly of you.

Good on ya! And even “Gooder” on your customer for taking the time to let you know (and as Wasp says above, hopefully your boss as well) they thought highly of you. Sure makes doing the “nine to five thing” that much easier.
I once had a customer give me an engraved mag light gift set as a token of their appreciation. It is a great feeling to know that someone values your efforts. The fact my Boss was standing there at the time made it even better.
