Last rain
Love the rain, and love driving in it. I will miss it when it becomes snow.
This morning it was a good solid autumn rain, and i rode to work with the radio off, hearing it pelt agaisnt the glass and the roof. Soon enough it will be sleet and snow, and I will be wishing for the rain again. It doesn’t look like we have any more headed our way.
I have always hunted in some rain. It isn’t good for hunting, really, but I love being afield when it’s wet. I doubt there will be rain this week, but I won’t be upset if there is.
If nothing else it helps to quiet the rustle of those damn dried leaves.
