I made Deer Fajitas a couple of days ago…
And today I had about a half pound of leftover deer. So I fried it up for breakfast, and made a nice ham&cheese omelette for the Ogwife. The Oglet is yet to make her appearance.
I’m still munching on crunchy fried pieces of deer, the wife’s omelette is three eggs, a half pound of ham, and a half pound of cheese, so she won’t finish it this morning. And I have no intention of dragging my ass out of the sweats I’m wearing until at least noon. Happy New Years, folks. Hope it brings us all good things. Since we can’t wish for peace, or political decency, at least we can hope for personal improvements in our lives.

Happy New years to you too, Og (and hte Ogwife and Oglet…)
Happy New Year to you, the wife and kiddo.
I’m off to buy a new diamond blade.
Happy New Year to you and yours also.
Og, Ogwife and Oglet – Happy New Year!
Sounds like the best way to celebrate New Years: at home, family time, lounging around in the quiet after a good home style breakfast.
Og,
Working an order of materials from:

We had black eyed peas, cornbread and greens last night. Good Southern tradition. In an hour or so, we will take a walk along Clear Creek. The first time without big Nate dog. Still a big ol’ hole without him.
I plan on praying for peace and political civility and work on making some major political change happen.
In the meantime:
Blessings on y’all in your warm Neandercave this day and throughout the new year.
We can indeed wish for peace and political decency. Unfortunately, as long as there’s a commie, democrat or muslim alive anywhere who is not under the immediate control of an actual adult, we can expect neither.
Much work needs to be done.
Happy new year.

Happy New Year.
Happy New Year. But it needs to be said properly — in tune with the times, as it were.
HAPpy New Year!
